Jerry Grey is a British born Australian citizen who has lived in China for almost two decades. He served as a British police officer for 10 years before emigrating to Australia where he found employment in the security industry rising to the position of General Manager of that country's largest security company before moving to China. Jerry holds a variety of business and sociology qualifications including a Master of Arts in Cross Cultural Change Management which he has put to good use in China as a training manager and business consultant. Over the last 10 years, Jerry has cycled through most regions of China on cross-country rides covering over 35,000 kilometres. He is now retired from full time work and is a freelance writer and social media commentator for a variety of international and Chinese media outlets. He has a social media presence on both Youtube and Twitter as "Jerry's Take on China" where his growing audience can follow his unique perspectives on his widely misunderstood adopted country. This unique perspective of seeing China from the ground, combined with his cultural experiences and an academic approach to writing, provide his audience a completely different lens through which to view China.
