Dr Christian Kreiss, born in 1962, has been a professor of finance and economics at Aalen University since 2002. Before teaching he worked as a banker in various commercial banks, including as an investment banker at Dresdner Bank group. He studied economics in Munich and wrote his dissertation about cartel price policy 1924-1932. He gave MBA lectures on investment banking at the University of Maine, USA, in 2004 and 2006. He testified repeatedly as an independent scientist before the German Bundestag. He wrote seven books, has many publications, is giving lots of public presentations and has been often on TV and radio. Favorite subjects of research: financial crises, planned obsolescence, corporate corruption of science and higher education, negative impacts of advertising.
